No More Suffering, No More Sorrow
"No more suffering, no more sorrow, safe at last in His care" was a line from a poem my maternal grandmother Nellie Pease (Meservey) of Appleton, Maine wrote a year before she died of pancreatic cancer on October 19, 1966. I was to be nine the next day. Someone needs to hear this who is suffering from the loss of a loved one. I want you to know that I am thinking of you. I encourage you to reach out to Jesus - the one who can comfort you - the one who always comforts me, amen♥
For With God Nothing Shall Be Impossible
Are you facing a situation that looks impossible? You need a miracle and you don't know God can work it out? There is nothing too hard for God. Mary was a virgin yet she was told by the angel Gabriel that she was going to be a mother, to carry the baby Jesus in her womb..imagine. She said to the angel Gabriel, "How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? (Luke 1:34) The angel said, "For with God there is nothing that shall be impossible." (1:37). I just love that scripture, ponder it for a moment - nothing - is impossible with God amen♥
Forgiveness
"Forgive as I forgave you"
The Lord has put it on my heart write about something that we all have struggled with at sometime in our lives - unforgiveness towards someone that has hurt us? I'm here to tell you as God is my witness, just let it go. If you really want to be free you have too. You can do it. Ask God to help you. I promise He will♥
Jesus Christ Is Lord
I have a Word for someone today. If we are not all sinners, then Christ suffered and died on the cross in vain and there is no hope for us. But if we are all sinners and Jesus died on the cross for our sins and paid our sin debt in full and was resurrected on the third day, there is hope for us all when we come to Him by faith and believe on His name--the name that is above every name that every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. Amen.
Decision For Christ
For many years - even after growing up in Sunday School and church - I did not have a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. Once I made that decision - and it is a decision you make - I have never ever felt alone. He filled my empty well and I never have to feel alone again. And there is sacrifice involved, but love is sacrifice. Jesus paid the ultimate sacrifice when he died on the cross for my sins - he loved me that much. Each day I try to love like Jesus taught me too. Prayer: "Lord, help me to grow in your grace and love others the way you love me in your name I pray, amen"♥
God Chose You
God chose you. He knew your name before He formed you in your mother's womb. Are you struggling with why you're here, not feeling like you matter? God made you for His glory. He has a specific purpose for your life. You were not a mistake. The same hands that formed you loves you. He is with you every moment of every day. That's a Word for someone today. Perhaps no one ever told you that you were important. Rest in that thought my friend. God loves YOU and He cares about YOU♥
The Grace Of God
Grace is a free gift of everlasting life given to us by God through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ who died on the cross of Calvary to pay our sin debt in full. He who had no sin died for us to reconcile us to God. Grace - God's unmerited favor - is given to all who will believe on Jesus and have the assurance of knowing that when you die your soul will be with him in Heaven. But the gift has to be received. Jesus is knocking on the door of your heart. Have you let him in? Jesus changed my life, amen♥
Love
Love is not so much a feeling as it is a choice you make. When someone has hurt you - and sometimes it is your family - you have to make the choice to love - you cannot go by how you feel - you do it because you love the Lord - and to love is to forgive. Jesus taught us about sacrificial love when while we were yet sinners he died for us. Lord help me to love like you♥
Atonement
Atonement is the payment that corrects the relationship between God and humans that we broke through sin. Jesus was our atoning sacrifice. He bridged the gap between us and God when he died on the cross at Calvary. He paid our sin debt in full. It brings me to tears at the very thought of what Jesus did for me. There were many years that I did not know that His free gift of grace needed to be received. I did not have the knowledge, no one ever told me. And I was going to church, Lord have mercy, but one day I got a Word from a minister and I surrendered and gave my life to the Lord and I am so very glad that I did. So I want to tell someone today who may not know that Jesus died for them too. Have you received Jesus into your heart? Don't wait we don't have the promise of tomorrow and heaven is real praise God♥
